A Night In The Mission was written by Jay Kirkland in honor of his dear friend Richard Segovia, (aka “The Mayor of the Mission,”) co-founder of the Latin Rock band Puro Bandido from the Mission in San Francisco. Recorded in Richard’s home studio with Francisco Mendoza and Richard is the special guest on congas. You can feel the energy with the powerful blend of ukulele, 12 string and congas.
